OptAI
What is OptAI?OptAI is the AI chat assistant built into OptiView. Instead of clicking through option chains, charts and scanners, you ask in plain language and OptAI retrieves the relevant options data, runs scans based on your own criteria, turns the results into charts and tables, and explains options concepts along the way. OptAI is an AI system, not a human, and its answers are labeled as AI-generated.
What market data can OptAI access?OptAI queries the same market datasets that power OptiView's charts and scanners, so you can ask for data in a sentence instead of navigating to it. You can check several symbols at once and combine different types of data in a single question.
Can OptAI scan for options setups?Yes. Instead of setting scanner filters by hand, describe what you are looking for in plain language. OptAI translates your description into a data query and returns the single-leg options, spreads, straddles or strangles that match your criteria.
Can OptAI explain options concepts?Yes. OptAI works as an on-demand tutor for options mechanics. Ask anything from 'what is theta decay?' to how an iron condor responds to a rise in implied volatility, and OptAI explains it in clear language, pulling market data into the explanation only when it helps.
Can OptAI access my brokerage account or place trades?No. OptAI has no access to your brokerage accounts, positions or balances, and it cannot place, modify or cancel orders. It does not generate or send brokerage API requests. Any brokerage connection you set up in OptiView stays separate from OptAI and remains under your control.
Are my OptAI chats used to train AI models?Third-party AI model providers do not use your OptAI conversations to train their models. OptiView may use conversations to develop and improve its own AI models, after removing direct identifiers such as your name, email address and account ID. You can object to this at any time.
How do I delete my OptAI chat history?You can delete individual OptAI conversations directly in the AI chat, or remove your entire history by deleting your OptiView account in Settings. Deleted conversations are removed from OptiView's systems and from its training datasets.
Does OptAI have usage limits?OptAI is currently available to invited accounts during the beta. Usage limits, credits and the AI models available to you may depend on your OptiView subscription plan, and they may change as OptAI rolls out more widely.
