What types of options can I analyze in OptiView?
OptiView supports analysis of U.S.-listed options covered by its available market data and platform infrastructure, including standard listed contracts on supported underlyings.
What OptiView supports
- U.S.-listed equity options on supported stocks, and exchange-traded funds
- Supported index options available within the platform’s data coverage
- U.S.-listed and international future options on stocks, commodities, indices and ETFs
- Standard listed expirations and strike structures provided through the available options feed
- Single-leg and multi-leg options strategies built from contracts on the same underlying
What can limit availability
- Some symbols may not have listed options or may not be included in the available dataset
- Very illiquid or inactive contracts may not be usable for options strategy analysis if pricing data is incomplete
- Broker connectivity does not automatically expand platform support to every instrument type
- Some instruments may not be supported by all brokers
How to verify coverage
- Search the underlying in OptiView to see whether an option chain is available
- Use the options scanner or chart to confirm whether strikes and expirations are listed
- Check whether the contract has valid pricing data before relying on payoff analysis
- Check whether your desired broker supports the underlying by picking the brokerage from the navigation bar
