Building your first options strategy in OptiView involves selecting an underlying asset and composing option legs. You can construct and analyze multi-leg options strategies either from the Strategy Builder or Option Scanner pages.

Step-by-step: Using the Strategy Builder

  1. Open the OptiView platform and access the options Strategy Builder tool
  2. Select an underlying asset from the top left of the chart
  3. Add option legs by choosing buy or sell, call or put, strike price, and expiration date
  4. View simulated payoffs in the chart across different price scenarios

Step-by-step: Using the Option Scanner

  1. Open the OptiView platform and navigate to the Option Scanner
  2. Use filters to scan for option contracts matching your criteria
  3. Click "View in Chart" on a contract to import it into the Strategy Builder
  4. Add additional legs as needed, then view simulated payoffs in the chart

  1. Open the OptiView platform and access the options Strategy Builder tool

  4. Choose your directional view of the underlying asset

  6. Select your goals which will return options based on these exposure preferences (optimized for Greeks)
