What chart time intervals are available in OptiView?

The OptiView options chart displays underlying price history across multiple time intervals, from 5-minute to daily candles. Users can switch between candlestick and line chart views and zoom or pan the chart to focus on specific price ranges or time periods.

Available time intervals

  • 5-minute candles for short-term intraday price analysis
  • 15-minute candles for broader intraday context
  • 1-hour candles for multi-day price analysis
  • Daily candles for long-term price history and trend identification
  • Select any interval using the time interval selector at the top of the OptiView chart

Switching between chart types

  • Toggle between candlestick and line chart using the chart type control in the chart toolbar
  • Candlestick charts display open, high, low, and close prices for each interval
  • Line charts connect closing prices and are useful for viewing general price direction alongside payoff visualization

Zooming and panning the chart
