Why am I still seeing delayed data after connecting my broker?
Seeing delayed data after connecting a broker usually means the brokerage connection is active but the account does not have the required real-time market data entitlements.
The broker is not selected
- The broker connection may be established but you did not select the broker as the data source
- Switch the data source by picking the broker from the list of brokerages in the navigation bar
Missing data entitlements from the broker
- Verify that the connected broker account includes real-time options data entitlements
- Check whether the broker account is approved for the relevant exchanges and instruments
What OptiView shows without live data
- OptiView continues to provide 15-minute delayed OPRA data for supported U.S.-listed options
- Users can still build options strategies, scan contracts, and analyze payoff visualization without a live feed
- Trade preparation should rely on live broker data when precise execution pricing matters
